mama's got a brand new bag
well, my old handbag was starting to show the wear & tear of my daily abuse, and the other night i decided it was time to make myself a new one. i found this strawberry corduroy and instantly fell in love with it! it is so me, strawberries and stars, but i was stumped on how to make a bag that would still represent sewing stars. after some thought it occurred to me that i could put mr. bunny on the bag, so i designed the vertical panel to go with the strawberry corduroy, and voila! a new handbag!
i think i might apply this fabric panel technique to make some more handbags for the shop...but not until i am done with all my wholesale stuff...which i should get back to! oh and i will be adding birdie mobile kits to the webshop at some point this week. i will be sure to post when i do...

Oh! This is absolutely wonderful! The strawberry corduroy alone is just darling - but when you couple it with MrBunny? Priceless!
You do realize that you are going to get stopped on the street all the time, with people asking you where you got that wonderful bag, don't you? You better make sure you're toting business cards with the shop info on them, and be prepared to make more of these bags!
