t minus 4 days until i leave

things are moving along here in studio sewing stars. some of the bears just had a little photoshoot so i can make 'birth cards' for them. i still need to make some outfits, and finish up the outfits that need some last minute touches. then all the bears need to be packed away and shipped off to nevada city, along with my other craft show stuff.

i have to say, i am really nervous. i have done plenty of other craft shows, but never a teddy bear show! i have no idea how it is going to go, and i will be by myself there too, which is kinda scary. i hope i can handle it! jitters aside, i am also extremely excited to see the other bears in person, and meet their makers. it is going to be fun!

well, anyway, back to finishing up the bears!

oh, you will do great, I'm sure! If it wasn't so far away, I would definately join you--so you wouldn't have to sit in your booth alone. I think you will have a great time--don't worry.
So, are we on for the latter part of your visit? I wanna hear all the bear stories! Safe trip; for you and your teddies.

Silly you! Don't be nervous. You're going to do just fabulous at the show!! The best part really is meeting everyone you've been talking to online. Everyone is soooo friendly. You're going to have a marvelous time!!

Best of luck!! It must be scary going alone, though. I always drag my husband with me everywhere, for I am rather wimpy. ;) I have been wondering if I should try a teddy bear show...you'll have to report back with the details.
Anyway...your bears are absolutely adorable, and I am sure they are going to be a HUGE hit with collectors. I bet you'll be the next big thing! :)

Teresa, shaddap. You're gonna be a huge hit, I predict! Besides, I'll come hang with you at your table, and leave my husband to man my table alone! There's a huge and kindhearted group of exhibitors there and the folks who run things are fun and available and very helpful. You'll be great! And your work speaks for itself. I feel daunted by your preparedness. I'm working like a dog and have almost nothing done; I usually bring 7-8 bears. We'll see...!!! See you soon!!!
