new scanner = fun postcards

well, a few weeks ago my scanner/printer i use finally died. mostly due to the fact i accidentally knocked it off a shelf...but it was really old. i had it since 2000! so although i was sad it was broken, i was sort of excited that i was going to be able to finally get a new smaller one.

i had been putting off the purchase though for a few weeks now, and finally yesterday i got a new one at circuit city. i hooked it up and finally scanned a backlog of drawings i had made, and made them into postcards for new promos:

"happy whales"

"deep sea adventure"

i have a lot of things sort of backlogged from my week away, so i am hoping to finally catch up today on some of those things. sometimes i feel like life i hurdling past me so fast i don't get a chance to enjoy it! well, i better get to my huge to do list for the day!

btw: I am de-lurking to inquire as to what scanner and printer you purchased? (epson 2200 per your profile?)I am just about to buy my own and have begun wondering what others are using. Hope you can help.
