where have i been? sewing. sorry i haven't updated...i am almost done with this batch of penguins, and next up to work on are the attack of the squids already gathering in a huge pile. so much to do, and so little time. i guess that is how it goes! in fact, i better head to bed to get rested up and let my poor pin pricked hands take a little rest before starting in on things again tomorrow! which is halloween...yay! 
when getting ready for shows i usually write a list of how much & what inventory i want to make. but as i got closer to the crafty bastards/risd sale back to back madness i kept getting confused & overwhelmed. so i opened up my trusty excell program and listed everything i make, prices, and quantities. so i made out lists for felt club, my webshop holiday update, and craftland.
my cotton monster, who i have named denise, is sounding the alarms here in sewing stars land...so i better get working!

so come'on! i wanna see tube socks with frowns, mis-shapen sweaters on dolls, etc! be creative! be silly! the only pic so far is from periwinklepenguins. the softie she made represents her worst gift ever as 'bronchitis", which i totally love.
well, i have been really busy, and despite my best efforts the small halloween update has been delayed. by friday skeletons, pumpkins and black kitties will posted, and i am sorry for anyone who has been waiting...

doing crafty bastards & the risd alumni sale back to back was awesome, but also extremely exhausting. both show days were extra warm, and i worked my poor fingers until they couldn't sew anymore...after a few days of resting, i am back to cutting & pinning for a mini halloween update that will have black kitties, skeleton dolls, and pumpkins galore. plus i have some halloween cards, and more pouches to restock. all this will happen hopefully by this weekend...
