i also have made squid, baby bunnies and snowmen for the update, along with a selection of pouches and restocking of things like stamp sets. it will be the big winter update to the shop, so if you don't want to miss it be sure to get on my mailing list (which you can sign up for on the front page of my website).
i leave you all with a picture of my new amazing mohair friend winifred,
which was a gift from a fellow blogger, theresa. she is totally
adorable, and i am honored to have one her first mohair creations!
tonight i board a plane back to lil' rhody. i am a little sad to leave california so soon, but i will be back for the holidays, and in the meantime there is so much to do! in fact i think i will pack some hand sewing to take on the plane....
being a native californian makes it easy to hop in my dad's spare car and going tooling around the los angeles basin, and beyond when i am here. today i went all the way out to ventura, braving the morning traffic on the 134 & 101 in order to see kelly, of superbuzzy.com fame. she just moved her warehouse into a space out there, and i swear it is like dying & going to a fabric filled heaven! japanese import fabrics fill racks with cuteness galore! i already made an online order i was picking up, but then i was unable to resist buying more!
we also hung out with her cute wee one, who made sure i got the tour, and we all went had an excellent lunch. i know i have only met kelly a few times, but she is super awesome, and so nice to boot! go see what she has in stock, and check back in the coming weeks, i got to see some of the brand new fabrics she just in, and trust me, it is super awesome!
little snowmen! all ready to go to felt club, which does seem a bit silly since it doesn't snow in southern california...i am totally excited to board a plane wednesday morning, though! i just need to finish everything up, and get all packed up. in fact, i should really get off the computer...later!!
there is just no pleasing that grumpy granny smith...at least red delicious is excited. CRAFT is out on stands, and i am happy to note that granny smith is one lucky apple to be a part of the bazaar section. a big thanks to the awesome Nat Zee who now has her very own granny smith applehead girl...
other than that life is moving along, and so is my sewing machine and tired hands, who have been churning out plush doll action at a pretty good rate! felt club is looming close now, and so is craftland. which incidentally i have been blogging about here. plsu i am getting ready for winter inspired update for the shop for holiday shoppers everywhere! busy busy busy! it is a wonder when i am sleeping...of course, i am not complaining at all! life has been really amazing lately!
if only i had time for a snuggly nap like these little guys...the one on the yellow blanket will be my door prize contribution for felt club.
i know i have been sorta below radar, mostly because there is so much to do, and so little time to do it! i have been plotting new items, while making my usual winter time stock. i hope i can show some of the new stuff soon...
okay, i should package some stuff up...i promise to post more often this week. i will leave you all with a close up of the sleepy bunny.
