where the heck have i been? well last weekend i got to have some fun time with my friends and we exchanged late prezzies. as you can tell i like to build tower presents. it makes them look more impressive.

after gift exchange we went to target, because really, what's more fun than target?

other than that, my first full week of being in the land of the employed was great. i even got a cubicle! or as my dad might say, 'recticle'. want to know more about AMS? here: ams.org. their website needs some serious help, but i am hoping to slowly influence them and bring them into the 21st century. i am in the creative services area doing all sorts of things. fun things! here are more pics of my cubicle...

soooo yeah. my webshop remains closed at the moment. i will finally stop playing katamari long enough to maybe actually sew some things this weekend. my life sort of veered in a new direction, and i have been trying to enjoy my long break from 2 years of non-stop sewing. break is almost over though...

while i was there i went with my dad and his lady to see the rose parade floats being built:

monday i started my new job, which was my temp job at the AMS:

oh yeah, so i am officially employed again. i have been temping at the AMS (American Mathematical Society) for a while now, and with the economy tanking, and the open position in the creative services department it seemed like fate, so i applied, and managed to land the job.

unlike my previous full time employment, this place is really great, and my new boss is one of the nicest people i have ever met. does this mean sewing stars is done? no, not at all. i just need to adjust to my new schedule and figure it all out. so the site will be remain down a little while longer while my life reforms yet again.

that was my december... i wonder what january will be like?
