yee-haw! ride that jackalope!

i love kitschy old west stuff. this weekend i wound up drawing this, and today finished the colors on it. i am pretty happy with it. i am making a couple of pouches with the image for the alumni sale this weekend... i have been busy sewing away for that show. i feel a little like i am walking in sand, though. i keep trying to make some headway, but it is taking so much effort for me to stay focused... for the next few days i will be sewing straight lines and making pouches...

today i am drawing, which is always a nice break from the machine, and a calming thing to do.

also, i have decided i need to blog more! hence the wip post... more to tomorrow!

super bunny, up up & away!

although mr. bunny dreams of being a super hero, i am dreaming of being well again. i have been sick for several days now, and i am very tired of sitting on my couch sneezing, coughing, and sniffling. this is one heck of a head cold!! i did manage to ink this drawing, and make it into a postcard design. but that is pretty much all i have done since last thursday...which is pretty sad indeed! oh well...more plushy goodness will have to happen on another day.

new scanner = fun postcards

well, a few weeks ago my scanner/printer i use finally died. mostly due to the fact i accidentally knocked it off a shelf...but it was really old. i had it since 2000! so although i was sad it was broken, i was sort of excited that i was going to be able to finally get a new smaller one.

i had been putting off the purchase though for a few weeks now, and finally yesterday i got a new one at circuit city. i hooked it up and finally scanned a backlog of drawings i had made, and made them into postcards for new promos:

i have a lot of things sort of backlogged from my week away, so i am hoping to finally catch up today on some of those things. sometimes i feel like life i hurdling past me so fast i don't get a chance to enjoy it! well, i better get to my huge to do list for the day!

write a letter, send a postcard!

last night i stayed up into the wee hours making up some new postcards, and business cards for summer. things have been quiet here, i have been making things, packing orders, etc... nothing exciting enough to write about, though! so enjoy the pictures!

it is of my brother when he was little. we were both messy kids, and his floor was always littered with toys and pieces of toys. whenever we were forced to clean it was always a pout-fest with my brother...
