this is super bunny & his sidekick frankie! i drew this the other day for purple cupcake who commented how mr. bunny was her hero...
so preparations are moving along for the alumni sale. i still have some stuffed animals in pieces, and i am really hoping that i will be able to finish them all in time!
the weather looks like it will be nice on saturday, so if you don't have plans, and live in nearby new england i would love to see you saturday here in providence!

well, it is nothing like beach weather outside today...but i wanted to share this image. it is one of the illustrations i have made into nice prints to sell on saturday...
i don't really have much to say, i just wanted to post this picture! later!!
thanks for the imput yesterday, i spent last night making prints of some of the recent drawings i have made to take to the sale. i will add some to the webshop at some point really soon too.
i have three more drawings i added to flickr last night including this one. i based the boy on what i imagine my dad was like when he was kid, playing with a toy plane.
have a great weekend, everyone!

my drawing today is based on a childhood memeory...when i was about 4, i dressed up our pet cat, annie, in a t-shirt and then bundled her up and put her in my fisher price shopping cart. i used the cart, because i didn't have a carriage or stroller and made due with what i had. our kitty was extremely tolerant!
for the alumni sale, i am thinking about having some really nice prints made up of some of my paintings i have but couldn't bare to part with. but i wonder if these drawings might also be nice as prints? what do you think?

i decided it would be fun to make paintings of my friends & family doing things they like to do. the one above is of allison reading for her classes. i also did one of my boyfriend playing his guitar. i already have more ideas, so if you are in craft group or know me in person, you could be next!
wow, this weekend just flew by! i have been working hard to get things ready for the webshop update...i am aiming for a thursday update. i will post a time as all that jazz when we get closer.
well...i don't really have much more to say, so...later!
somehow i have made it through this week. it has been nuts at work. tonight my big plans involve sewing until my hands fall off...then sewing some more. sounds really good to me right now!
i am going to call in about the booklet to the printer and hopefully it will go to press next week...which means very very soon i will have tons of booklets to add to the shop. i am also starting to work on stuffed animals for a second booklet of patterns i hope to have by spring...i am going to go with a 'circus' theme for that booklet.
a few things that have made this week better despite the insanity at work:
♥ my dad calling me at work asking for beige paint
♥ indian food for dinner last night
♥ chris bringing me good & plenties
♥ craft night ladies
♥ helping erica get her pink hat back
so...next week, there will be an update...i am shooting for wednesday...i will make an announcement when i am sure.
have a great weekend everyone!

happy valentine's day, and all that jazz. i left the cobain doll on my boy's chair along with a card. he will see it when he gets home later.
i painted this painting about a pair of shoes i love but could never afford. i also need other types of shoes, like new tennis shoes, and winter boots. i always seem to fall in love with shoes that are waaay beyond my means...at least i can love them vicariously by painting them...
booklet update: they are ordered and on the way
shop news: the shop is on temporary hold until i get some other stuff taken care of, but i plan on doing a big update after the 'other stuff' is out of the way.
that is all! everyone have a nice valentine's day with your sweetie! (or else, enjoy your anti-valentine's for those who aren't into a 'love' day) ♥ ♥ ♥ teresa

well, so it certainly is a blizzard out there. the snow piles are drifting in the wind, and the snow is really dry and powdery. i shoveled with my neighbor and we cleared the walkway while her puppy jumped around in the piles and was trying to eat the snow flakes as they fell, which was pretty adorable.
this is perfect weather for baking cookies...hmm, maybe i will...
