this is an idea i had for a t-shirt while i was watching an episode of 'the universe' the other night. i kept thinking about it, and so i sketched it out. i know, it is not only a pun, but super geeky. i know i would wear it...i wonder if anyone else would? what do you think?
whew!! new! apple kits available in the webshop! yay! made it with both colors of fleece in each kit, and after making an apple with this wedge pattern it will be easy to make other round objects.
wow. new england is a pretty humid place. a rather large thunderstorm just passed overhead too. it looked like someone was throwing buckets of water at my windows. as someone who grew up in a 8 year drought in southern california i am still amazed by stuff like that...and i also don't think i will ever acclimate to the humidity!
well, aside from that...i just added the ice cream dolls to the webshop...
and i finally have an air date for uncommon threads!
alright...i think a real ice cream might be in order...later!
these little ice cream dolls are waiting for their cherries, and the cherries are waiting for the order of eyes i made to come in...once done, these are all destined for the webshop. i have a new flavor on the far right, coffee!
ah! finally, i got the new merchandise added to the shop...of course they are all in limited quantities since i need to hold onto some for the craft shows coming up (felt club & artbeat)...so get the new stuff while it lasts!
sorry for the shameless plug...there are more ice cream dolls being born, but no one is ready to go in front of the camera yet...they will be soon, though!
i usually like to spread out things a bit and talk about one at a time...but it is friday, and i just have to share both!
first: i ordered some mr. bunny moods stamps, and last night got them all preped and ready. i just need to figure out some packaging, and then they will be available in the webshop as well as at the craft shows i will be doing! i think they came out really really well! just think, they are good for letter writing, scrapbooking, or i will be using mine to stamp grumpy bunnies on all the bills i mail out....
second: i made 2 more ice cream dolls, bubble gum & strawberry. for the bubble gum one, i even added the streaks that gum balls make in the ice cream.
i am going to make a few different flavors to take to the craft shows coming up...next to make? i am thinking a lemon sorbet...and maybe a rainbow sherbet too....well that is pretty much it, have a great weekend everyone!!
well, now there is a little lemon boy. here they are checking out my seedlings' progress on the porch. the girls are pretty head heavy, so they are standing with doll stands. the lemon boy wound up being 8" tall, and he looks little next to his 13" sisters.
mid-day today i will be adding these and their smaller counter parts to the webshop. i will be sure make a quick post to announce it when they are all up.

how exciting is life around here? i think neo's big yawn about says it all. nothing fun to show, only piles of messy fabrics, and half finished strange looking things...
i did add a couple new pouches to the webshop, and i have been pondering the best way to package magnet sets. i will add those lil' rhody button sets soon too.
other than the usual website stuff, i have been spending a couple evenings over at erica's (of coffee-drinker.com) house playing katamari damacy. which i know is old news in the world of video games, but totally cool & new to me! i have also been avoiding looking at the new pirates of the caribbean movie trailers so it will be totally fresh when i finally get to see it! while at the same time totally excited to see a new transformer's movie trailer. what can i say, i am total geek!
the mail lady brought me a package yesterday. i opened it to find the coasters i ordered from buttonarcade.com! they look awesome, and will go up in the webshop soon! if you need buttons or coasters, or mirrors or anything like that, kyle of button arcade will hook you up!
oh, and laura lynn tagged me! i am supposed to start with 7 random facts/habits about myself post them in my blog, then tag 7 people and comment to let them know. i have a lot to do today, so i think i will skip the second part and simply say, if you are reading this then you are tagged too!, but here is the first part:
1. i never learned how to ride a bike (i am 29 now).
2. i think about getting a tattoo that says, "california native" all the time.
3. i own multiple pairs of scissors, plyers, seam rippers, and screw drivers because i always loose them, and my chances of finding one when there are so many are much better.

5. i am total dork...i own & watch g1 transformers, and i own all of the inuyasha anime series.

it has turned into a delightful spring here in new england. today it is rainy but in a nice spring way! i have a pile of stuff to do today, so enough babbling on...
